Integrated Facial Release Massage
Draws from the combined skills of several modalities, applied intuitively by the practitioner.
- Trigger Point Therapy
Deactivates trigger points that may cause local pain or refer pain and other sensations, such as headaches, in other parts of the body. Trigger points were first discovered and mapped by Dr. Janet G. Travell. These points relate to dysfunction in the neuromuscular junction (NMJ), in muscle, and therefore this modality is different from reflexology, acupressure and pressure point massage.
- Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)
An approach to soft tissue manual therapy in which quasi-static pressure is applied to soft tissue to stimulate skeletal striated muscle.
Through applied knowledge of trigger points, neuromuscular therapy addresses poor posture, biomechanical dysfunction, nerve compression syndrome, and ischemia.
- Chi Nei Tsang (CNT)
An ancient form of detoxifying and energizing, abdominal massage.
Uses a technique commonly called palm healing or hands-on-healing. Through the use of this technique, the practitioner transfers qi "universal life force" through the palms which encourages the bodies own healing ability.
- Lomi Lomi - traditional Hawaiian massage
- Myofascial Release
- Sports Massage
- Prenatal Care
Located above the Artie's Indian Cafe in Lagunitas, CA.
